Nicest Manchester United Kits Of All Time

10. 2012/2013 Home kit

When this was first revealed, a lot of people questioned the pattern, and rival fans even mocked it for looking like a tea towel. However, it started to grow on people, and I personally think Nike did a very good job.

A lovely blend of black and red, United's main colours, this strip was very popular with the fans indeed, and was worn by stars like Cristiano Ronaldo and Carlos Tevez, two players that United fans would kill to see back in United colours at the moment.

For me, when it comes to football kits, I like simplicity. This is a simple yet elegant strip, with the black strip adding a bit of extra design to it. The round black collar looks very smart too, and this timeless design wouldn’t look out of place at all nowadays, despite it being nearly 5 years old.

7. 1963 FA Cup Final shirt

Something that is unheard of now, this kit was made specifically for the 1963 FA Cup final, a game that United won 3-1. The plain shirt, with the smart white collar, and the classy chest of arms, tops off this retro classic.

A classic Adidas design, this kit pretty much epitomises ‘retro’ for me. A season that Uniteds only success being the Charity Shield, makes this a very forgotten strip, but nevertheless, it is very smart and something that would even be welcomed now, 30 years later.

5. 1986/1988 home kit

Kept for two seasons, this beaut was a very nice kit indeed. It’s very rare that you find a kitfrom the 80’s that would be nice nowadays too, but this one would certainly fit in. A period for United fans to forget for their poor form, it’s a shame that this kit is associated with it.

4. 2011/2012 home kit

A much more recent one now, a unique Nike design, the collar really makes the red stand out in my opinion. Although, this kit would be associated with a season to forget for Reds fans, a season which involved losing an 8 point lead and handing the trophy to their arch-rivals, Manchester City.

3. 1958 FA Cup final shirt

Similar to that of the 1963 one, this elegant design was made specifically for the 1958 FA cup final, something that is never done nowadays. Although United lost that game 2-0 to Bolton Wanderers, it’s shame that such a nice kit has to be associated with such a devastating defeat.

Now I’m not sure about you, but I LOVE this shirt. I know I go on about collars a lot, but this one is truly lovely. Although it’ll be a horrible memory for United fans, as it is definitely a season to forget, with them having their worst ever Premier League campaign ever.

1) 2014 home kit
Manchester united has just unvieled their new jersy officially couple of days ago. It looks pretty cool with a Chevrolet logo at his heart. It comes with the latest laser cut ventilation. Hope this new Shirt brings in some more Trophies to United.
